[Ecoed] Reminder: workshop and special session proposals due this Friday!

This is a reminder that if you plan to submit a workshop or special
session proposal for the 2007 annual meeting in San Jose, proposals are
due this Friday, December 1st.
 
An update on the workshops I'm planning, since it's changed a little:
 
I'm proposing two workshops on EcoEdNet. One will be a half-day weekend
workshop in collaboration with the American Museum of Natural History,
and will show faculty how to use digital libraries to increase
student-active learning in undergraduate courses. The workshop will
highlight EcoEdNet and a similar project, the AMNH's Network of
Conservation Educators and Practitioners (NCEP).
 
I'm also proposing a shorter lunchtime workshop that will be an
introduction to EcoEdNet.
