World Wetlands Day "Wet Your Appetite - Cuisine for Critters Recipe Contest"

 

World Wetlands Day is February 2nd 2008! To celebrate, Environmental Concern
Inc. is  introducing a creative writing competition with a twist. Students
in grades 8 -12 in the U.S. and its territories are challenged to write a
wetland recipe.  Here's the twist, the recipe will be written for a specific
wetland organism living in one of the twenty-two U.S. Ramsar Wetlands of
International Importance. Twenty-two winners will be chosen, one for each
wetland, and their recipes compiled into the 1st annual "Wet Your Appetite:
Cuisine for Critters Cookbook." Winners will receive two copies of the book,
one to keep and one to share with their school.
