Dear All,

I have launched a social networking website, Earth Newswire, that is a bit
like Facebook or Myspace, but is just for people interested in
environmental science, ecology and conservation. It's located at
http://www.earthnewswire.com

The purpose of the site is to allow people around the world who are
working in these fields - or just interested amateurs - to connect with
one another and share news and information.

Membership is free and those who join get their own profile, ability to
"friend" other members, a personal blog, and photo and video galleries,
among other things. The site features generalized forums but also allows
members to create specialized discussion groups.
